Lisa Edelstein has been an American actress for over 20 years. She is most well-known for her part as a character in House in the series House on Fox. Growing up in Wayne in conservative Jewish tradition, she moved into New York City at the age of 18 to pursue studies in theatre at Tisch School of the Arts. But very soon she began to be active in the club scene and made enough noise to be seen by the media and concurrently, becoming conscious of the devastating effects of AIDS. Her experience and fame, along with her personal education to write and perform a show called Positive Me. Soon after, she was hired by MTV to host Awake On The Wild Side. Once it went off the show, she started appearing in films and television production at first in small roles and gradually established herself as an actress.
